Sam Rhody is a performance coach with a deep understanding of what it takes to excel in sports. With a B.S. in Exercise Science from the University of St. Thomas and an M.S. in Strength and Conditioning from Arizona State University, Sam combines scientific knowledge with practical experience to help athletes perform at their best.
In her third year at Empowers Performance, Sam works with athletes of all ages and skill levels, from youth sports to professional athletes. She’s particularly skilled in tailoring programs to meet the needs of athletes across a variety of sports, drawing from her own background as a former hockey and lacrosse player. Also, her expertise in applied stretching theory and practice further enhances her ability to support athletic development and recovery. Sam’s approach is rooted in both physical and mental preparation, and she believes in creating training plans that foster long-term growth.
Outside of coaching, Sam is passionate about continuing her education and exploring new ways to improve performance. When she's not coaching or training, you'll likely find her building legos, enjoying the outdoors, or skating on the ice as a shovel girl for the Minnesota Wild.
